Hand-built cabinetry, marble worktops and master-carpenter-led installation for Victorian terraces, mews houses and mansion blocks across SW3 and SW10. Designed around the proportions of a Chelsea house, not adapted from a showroom catalogue.
The housing stock between Sloane Square and World’s End is unusually consistent: Victorian and Georgian terraces, intimate mews properties, and the mansion blocks that line Cheyne Walk and the Embankment. None of them were designed around a contemporary kitchen, and none of them respond well to a kitchen designed for somewhere else.
The brief in Chelsea is almost always the same in shape, even if the materials differ. Open up the rear of the ground floor where it makes sense. Insert a bespoke kitchen that reads as if the architect drew it in 1885. Restore the original detail around it — cornicing, panelling, sash windows — rather than stripping it out. Get the proportions right, and the rest follows.
This is the work we do. We design and build kitchens specifically for Chelsea’s housing stock, in materials and detailing that belong in it. The cabinetry is hand-built in our workshop. The worktops are templated on site, slab-matched at every joint. The installation is done by the carpenters who built the cabinetry, not a sub-contracted team.
Every bespoke kitchen we deliver in Chelsea is end-to-end. One team. One point of contact. One standard. Nothing on the project is sub-contracted to a different crew with different priorities.
Measured survey, layout options and elevation drawings designed for the proportions of a Chelsea terrace or mansion block — not adapted from a catalogue.
In-frame Shaker, handleless or bespoke door styles. Solid timber face frames, dovetailed drawer boxes, soft-close throughout, painted in your specified palette.
Carrara, Calacatta, Statuario, quartzite and engineered stone. Templated on site, slab-matched at joints, edges finished by hand to the profile your design calls for.
Existing kitchen removed cleanly, with full protection of period flooring and adjacent rooms, dust suppression and waste removal — never as a hidden extra.
Plumbing, electrics, gas, plastering and structural alterations coordinated by our trusted Chelsea crew, with all certifications provided on completion.
Cabinetry installed by the carpenters who built it. Worktops, splashbacks, appliances and lighting fitted to a level we sign off personally before handover.
A bespoke kitchen in a Chelsea Victorian terrace is not the same brief as a bespoke kitchen in a new-build apartment. The variables that matter are different, the constraints are different, and the assumptions that work elsewhere fail here.
We have refurbished kitchens across Chelsea for long enough to know what those variables are, where the planning friction lives, and how to design around the constraints rather than fight them. Original ceiling heights, narrow stair access, mews delivery windows, party-wall sensitivities, freeholder rules in mansion blocks — all of it is factored in at quote stage, not discovered mid-project.

I’ve hired Igor to do the flooring in my kitchen and I can assure this has been one of the best decisions I made. My kitchen now looks immaculate and I couldn’t be happier with ProCraft’s services. Fast, reliable and delivers quality to your needs. Very well recommended.
We needed help with repairs after a water leak. Igor came back to me quickly with a quote and completed the job that weekend. Would highly recommend.
