Premium Refurbishment · Mayfair W1J / W1K / W1S

Premium refurbishment
for Mayfair homes.

ProCraft delivers bespoke kitchens, luxury bathrooms and full-house refurbishment for Mayfair’s Georgian townhouses, prime apartments and mews properties. Master-carpenter-led, sympathetic to original detail, and entirely at home with the Grosvenor Estate, Crown Estate and Westminster conservation requirements that govern the area.

Refurbishment for Mayfair homes,
by craftsmen who know them.

Mayfair is the most architecturally formal residential quarter in London — Georgian townhouses around Grosvenor Square and Berkeley Square, prime apartments along Park Lane, and the quieter mews tucked behind the principal streets. The standard is set by the buildings: anything inserted must read as if it has always been there.

Our Mayfair projects typically combine sympathetic restoration of original features — cornicing, panelling, sash windows, marble fireplaces, original parquet — with a contemporary insertion: a hand-built kitchen, a marble bathroom suite, joinery integrated into the architecture rather than imposed on it. The work has to satisfy the building, the estate and the conservation officer in equal measure.

We work routinely on listed buildings within the Mayfair Conservation Area. Planning, party-wall awareness, estate liaison, porter coordination, lift access and out-of-hours working windows are factored in at quote stage — not discovered mid-project.

Discuss Your Mayfair Project

Six specialisms.
One standard of finish.

Mayfair clients commission us most often for kitchens, bathrooms and apartment-wide refurbishment — but every service is delivered to the same standard. Each can be commissioned in isolation or as part of an end-to-end programme.

Across W1J, W1K and W1S,
and the streets either side.

We cover all of Mayfair — from Park Lane in the west across Grosvenor Square and Berkeley Square to Bond Street and Hanover Square in the east, and from Oxford Street in the north down to Piccadilly. Mews work behind Mount Street, South Audley Street and Charles Street is routine. We also work regularly in adjacent St James’s (SW1A), Knightsbridge (SW1X) and Marylebone (W1U).

Travel and access are factored into every quote. We do not ask clients to absorb the cost of a contractor learning the area for the first time.

We needed help with repairs after a water leak. Igor came back to me quickly with a quote and completed the job that weekend. Would highly recommend.

What clients in Mayfair
most often ask.

Yes. The majority of our Mayfair projects are in Georgian townhouses around Grosvenor Square, Berkeley Square and Mount Street, in mews properties off the principal streets, and in prime apartments along Park Lane. We restore original cornicing, panelling, sash windows and marble fireplaces sympathetically while inserting contemporary kitchens, bathrooms and bespoke carpentry to the same standard.
Yes. The whole of Mayfair sits within the Mayfair Conservation Area, governed by City of Westminster, with a very high concentration of listed buildings — particularly across the Grosvenor and Crown estates. For listed-building consent, estate consents or more complex planning matters, we can liaise with planning consultants, estate management and party-wall surveyors as required.
We cover all of W1J, W1K and W1S, including Park Lane, Grosvenor Square, Berkeley Square, Mount Street, South Audley Street, Bond Street and Hanover Square, and the mews behind them. We also work routinely in adjacent SW1A (St James’s), SW1X (Knightsbridge) and W1U (Marylebone).
We coordinate directly with the Grosvenor Estate, Crown Estate and individual managing agents from the outset. Contractor parking permits, lift bookings, communal-area protection, delivery windows and out-of-hours working schedules are agreed with the estate and the porter team before work begins. Estate constraints are not surprises to absorb; they are planning items to design around.
Every project is priced individually after a property visit. Igor visits the Mayfair property, assesses scope, materials, structural and conservation considerations, and provides a detailed written quotation itemised line by line. We do not publish indicative pricing online — the variables are too significant to give a useful range. Standard 20% VAT is shown separately on every quote.
