A premium hardwood floor in a Chelsea Victorian terrace is not the same brief as the same floor in a new-build apartment. The variables that matter are different: original joists, suspended timber sub-floors, residual moisture, mansion-block acoustic specifications, the threshold detail at the door of an original cornicing room.
